Tax-Deductible Donation

The purpose of Sage Educators Foundation is to promote educational equity by funding educational programs for students in need so that all students have access to learning. Your tax-deductible contribution allows us to bring this purpose to life in service to ALL Marin County students.

  • $100 one to two hours of academic tutoring for one Marin County youth
  • $450 one month of academic tutoring for one Marin County youth
  • $1,500 comprehensive college preparedness workshop for one Marin County youth
  • $4,000 one year of academic tutoring and mentoring for one Marin County youth
  • $15,000 comprehensive high school and/or college preparedness workshop for 10 Marin County youth
  • $40,000 one year of academic tutoring and mentoring for 10 Marin County youth

Fundraising programs from the businesses below come at no extra cost to you and provide a variety of ways in which a percentage from your current shopping is donated back to Sage Educators Foundation.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gifts can double or even triple your donation. The Human Resources department at your workplace can provide you with instructions on how to process a match – it usually takes about five minutes to fill out a matching gift form. Thank you for going the extra mile!

Minimum Required Distribution

If you are 70-1/2 or older, you can contribute the Minimum Required Distribution (up to $100,000 per year) from your Individual Retirement Account to Sage Educators Foundation tax-free. The money must be transferred, via your IRA check or by the IRA’s administrator, directly to the foundation to qualify as tax-exempt.
